What I want for Christmas 12/06/2010
You know you've grown up when none of the things you want for Christmas can be bought at a store. Add Comment How my family gives thanks 11/23/2010
Every year, when my family gets together we write down everything we are thankful for and then go around in a circle before our thanksgiving prayer, and give thanks to our creator for what ever blessing(s) He has brought to us that year. With the economic times that we are all living right now, I am grateful my husband is employed. He may not be working in the same state we live in, but he's working and bringing home a paycheck. I am grateful my youngest son was given a clean bill of health this year. I am grateful my daughter doesn't date "that boy" any longer. I am grateful my older son is still in college AND working. I am grateful for my health and curvy hips. I am grateful for two awesome sisters who are my bestest friends I am grateful for two loving parents who are a joy to be around I am grateful for my faith life, for without my faith what's the point? I am grateful for the countryside in which I live and all the wild-life we enjoy every season I am grateful for my husband, who loves me despite all my faults I am grateful for all my friends - you know who you are - you make me laugh! I am grateful for all my business relationships - the things I have learned along the way and the things I have yet to learn. Thank you for putting your trust in me - I truly appreciate it. I am grateful for the suffering that me and my family are suffering or have suffered. It is through suffering that we find our joy. I hope that you can find at last one thing to be thankful for. If you can't think of anything, be thankful for your next breath. May you all be richly blessed this thanksgiving season. I appreciate all of you that take the time to read my blog posts. I would love to hear what you are thankful for. | ArchivesDecember 2011 CategoriesAll |
